This year, the third international competition on translation studies and didactics of translation titled «TRANSLATOR – creativity and education» named after A.V. Fedorov attained international reference getting together graduates not only from various cities and universities in Russia, but also from Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

Following the results of the Stipendium Hungaricum competition, 5 graduates of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Ogarev Mordovia State University will continue their master degree programs in Hungarian universities


Associate professor of the Chair of neurology and psychiatry under Medical Institute of Ogarev Mordovia State University Natalia Tokareva attended the 27th International Symposium on psychiatry entitled «VIOLENCE and AGGRESSION», held in Barcelona, Spain between 28.08.2020 - 11.09.2020.

A student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology won an International competition of term papers. 


Following the results of the calls for proposals announced within the European Union Erasmus+ programme 2020, 3 projects under the Jean Monnet Activities programme and 1 project under the Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education programme were approved for funding by the European reviewers. By the number of projects supported under the Jean Monnet Activities Scheme, Mordovia State University is among the leaders.

On July 23-24, Students of Mordovia State University took part in the Data Hackathon, an International competition for solving global social problems using AI & Data.  This international event is supported by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and Ogarev Mordovia State University is the official regional organizer.  

Students of the Faculty of mathematics and information technology became winners, laureates and nominees of the prestigious International contest of graduation theses in technical, physical and mathematical sciences, earth sciences. The above competition for graduate students was held on July 15, 2020, across the levels of education, degree programmes and nominations. More information is available at:

The International competition of research papers «Modern researcher – 2020» was held in Rostov-on-Don.

Following the intra-university order dated of March 25, 2020 No. 221 «On additional measures for organisation of academic studies in order to prevent the spread of a novel coronavirus» in April 2020, we shall continue to teach and learn online i.e. using distance educational technologies. The exact duration of online learning will be determined taking into account the epidemiological situation in the region.
