Faculty of law keeps a high profile in Romania due to Erasmus +

During a week in November 6 - 13, the Dean of the Law faculty, head of Chair of International and European law Yulia N. Sushkova read a series of lectures to students and teachers of one of the oldest universities in Europe – University Babes-Bolyai (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) in the framework of the European programme of academic mobility Erasmus+. Professor Yulia Sushkova gave talks on the following topics: "Eurasianism: on the way to "Bigger Europe" from Lisbon to Vladivostok", "the legal status of Finno-Ugric people in the Russian Federation", "Leo Tolstoy’s ideas on legislation of a state and protection of religious rights."

During her business trip, Professor Sushkova discussed with the Dean of the Law faculty Florin Streteanu prospects for cooperation between the Law faculties of the two universities in preparing joint publications, implementation of joint international scientific and educational projects. Apart from that, she also met with members of the Foundation «the Russian World» and its Director, professor Judith Bartalis. There, Professor Sushkova shared with the audience recent developments in her research field «Legal anthropology in Russia».
