Students of the philological faculty win fellowships for language training in Finland

Bachelor degree programme students specialising in Philology, academic profile "Foreign Philology (Hungarian/Finnish, English languages and literature)" apply and win on a regular basis fellowships granted within the Programme of kindred nations by the Ministry of Education of Finland. The fellowship allows a successful applicant to go through a language training at a leading Finish university.

This year’s competition for the 2017 / 2018 academic year was successful for Elena Pavlova and Maria Chudaeva, who submited their applications guided by associate professors of the Chair of Finno-Ugric and comparative linguistics N.M. Mosina and N.V. Chinaeva. According to the terms of the fellowship the students will during six months undergo intensive training in Finnish language at University of Helsinki.
