A student from Faculty of Philology is one of the winners of the eighth Online Friendship Festival «Folklore as a people's confession»

18 January was the day of the final stage of international festival devoted to folklore, held annually by Chair of Russian language for international students studying natural sciences at Lomonosov Moscow State University

«Folklore as a people's confession» is an annual event. This year 248 participants from over 40 Russian and foreign universities as well as educational centres joined this gathering. Among them were undergraduate students, post-graduate students and research trainees, learning Russian as a second language.

The qualifying round was held from September 25 to November 25, 2018. On January 18, 2019, the final stage entitled «Youth sings the song of friendship” took place in the form of an online parade-presentation. 

More than 30 universities contacted Moscow State University to be admitted. But candidates from only 12 universities were selected. Among them was a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Philology (profile: Russian Language and Literature) - Maysa Atadzhanova. Under the supervision of the head of the Chair of Russian and Foreign Literature, Professor Olga Yu. Osmukhina, the student prepared and presented the essay entitled «Characters of My People's Fairy Tales», as well as a short video on the plot of the Turkmen epic.
