IX international competition «Serbia in my heart...» designates the winners

Students of the Faculty of Philology under N.P. Ogarev Moscow State University took part in the IX International competition «Serbia in my heart...», which was held on 16-18 of May at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Russia.

The aim of the competition is to stir up and foster interest to the poetic creativity and song craft of the Serbian and Russian people, as well as to monuments of cultural heritage. The event was organized by the Society for Russian-Serbian Friendship and the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Russian Federation. 

In total, the competition attended over 200 students from such cities as Barnaul, Belgorod, Dolgoprudny, Kaluga, Ryazan, Moscow and Saransk. Students of Mordovia State University won the 2nd team place in the IX International competition "Serbia in my heart..."(headed by associate professor of the Chair of Russian language S. A. Kabanova).

Among personal rewards are 2nd place in his age group was taken by Cristina Dumbrava. Anna Nazarkina won 1st place for reading out the literary work in Serbian and 2nd place for translation from Serbian. 1st place for translation from Serbian was awarded to Ekaterina Starkina, 3rd place won Aleksandra Lomova.
