Open lectures on big data application for economic students

In 2016, National Research Mordovia State University and Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) negotiated an agreement on cooperation and interaction in education and science. Under this agreement, in 2018, Alena Pronina, a student of the Faculty of Economics majoring in Business Informatics, passed a semester as a mobility student at Wroclaw University of Economics, and the teaching staff S.V. Bazhanova and E.R. Ermakova gave there a series of lectures.

In May 2019, the Director of the Institute of Business Informatics under Wroclaw University of Economics, doctor of economic sciences, Professor Mieczyslaw Lech Owoc paid a return visit to Mordovia State University. In the center of the scholar’s scientific interests are artificial intelligence and database technology, including the study of such a topical issue as Big Data. It is this scientific domain that Mieczyslaw Lech Owoc will cover in his lectures to students and teaching staff of our University on May 6-7.
