National Research Ogarev Mordovia State is among 50 best universities in Russia

On June 4th, 2019, the International information group «Interfax» compiled the X annual national ranking of universities. 

In the overall ranking Ogarev Mordovia State University ranks the 41st; among 96 classic universities it is the 22nd, among the universities of the Volga Federal district it ranks the 6th. The University has enhanced its competitive advantage in such criteria as «innovation&commercialisation», and «socialisation» – where, as of today, it ranks the 38th and 16th  respectively.

In 2019, the national ranking of universities has expanded the scope of participants: the experts had estimated 327 leading Russian universities, which was by 39 universities more than last year. Universities were assessed according to six criteria: branding, educational activities; research; social environment; international activities; innovations and technological entrepreneurship.

On June 5th, 2019 in the framework of the VII International Forum of Leading Universities entitled «Global competitiveness», RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics) released to the public the results of the VIII annual rating «Top 100 universities of Russia – 2019».

Following this standing of universities Ogarev Mordovia State University ranks 67th and the 16th among classical universities.

In the run-up to the current ranking, compilers drew on statistical indicators, as well as on the results of surveys from fifty thousand respondents: representatives of academic and scientific communities, students and graduates, employers. As statistical information, the survey findings, scientometrical indicators and information from open sources were used.

Best Russian universities, as ever, as before maintain ground: Lomonosov Moscow State University, National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI) and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
