Students of Mordovia State University became winners of the prestigious international competition of graduation theses. It was held between July 10 and August 10 this year among graduates, master degree students, post graduate students and students of secondary specialised colleges in 18 fields and 5 nominations.


During three days of August (9-11) Imatra and Lappeenranta cities (Finland) under the aegis of Ministry of Culture and Education of Finland, South Karelian Regional Union and South-Karelian Cultural Society «Lyra» hosted an international project «The Mordovian Folk Culture» (the project coordinator from the Russian side – head of the research laboratory of the Finno-Ugric culture, professor Elena N. Lomshina).


The project «HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building (ALLVET)» aims at solving the problems in the field of vocational and high education in Russia and Kazakhstan seeking to increase the level of competences and skills in TUNING system, which targets to introduce competence approach based on the integration of the requirements of vocational professional standards and modern teaching methods.


According to the results of the competition announced by the European Union Erasmus+ programme: Jean Monnet Activities 2019, the University managed to carve out its presence in 2 EU projects. A total of 15 Russian projects were approved for funding out of 285 projects submitted. 

On 30th of July, the University signed a cooperation agreement with Shenyang Institute of Technology. 


On 9-12 of July, the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology of Ogarev Mordovia State University hosted the XIVth international conference entitled «Differential equations and their applications in mathematical modeling».

"Ignite the desire to learn and know the Russian language" – that's the mission of volunteers of the international programme "Embassadors of the Russian language in the world!" The participants of the programme go abroad to acquaint high schoolers and university students with the Russian language, culture and literature; work in Russian regions, children's centers, enhancing literacy among Russian children. 


On June 4th, 2019, the International information group «Interfax» compiled the X annual national ranking of universities. 


Students of the Faculty of Philology under N.P. Ogarev Moscow State University took part in the IX International competition «Serbia in my heart...», which was held on 16-18 of May at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Russia.

From 15 to 16 of May, Republic of Mari El hosted the VI international Finno-Ugric student forum entitled «Wealth of Finno-Ugric people». Every year, Yoshkar-Ola city gathers young people from different regions of the Russian Federation to share research findings in the field of Finno-Ugric Philology, history, archeology and culture.

In 2016, National Research Mordovia State University and Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) negotiated an agreement on cooperation and interaction in education and science. 


From 23 to 26 of April, Mordovia State University received a delegation of teaching and auxiliary staff from I. Razzakov Kyrgyz Technical University. The visit took place in the framework of joint project of universities in the Russian-Kyrgyz consortium of technical universities, which currently consists of 8 Kyrgyz and 27 Russian universities.

On April 22, Mordovia State University launched a series of online lectures for students of Z.M. Babur Andijan State University  (Uzbekistan). 

Professor Craig S. Brandist, PhD, heads the Bakhtin Centre in Sheffield in the capacity of its Director and is a member of the organising committee of the upcoming International Bakhtin Conferences.


On March the 2nd Sports and Entertainment Centre "Platinum Arena Krasnoyarsk" will host the opening ceremony of the 29th World Winter Student Games (Universiade) 2019. The ceremony will be televised to more than 60 countries around the world.
