On March 13, the capital of Mordovia greeted foreign guests of the regional program of the World Youth Festival 2024 with bread salt and Mordovian songs.

Guests from 29 countries of the world came to the republic — Algeria, Armenia, Bangladesh, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Republic of Belarus, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Chile, Ethiopia.

Two groups of participants in the International Youth Festival visited our university, wh ere they met with the Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Mr. Aleksandr Astafyev.

The delegation members learned about the university’s faculties, departments, educational programs and international student life.

After that, the participants visited the university museum and learned about its history and also toured the university’s scientific laboratories where they learned about the most important scientific activities and experiments there in.
