On May 31, the head of the republic of Mordovia Mr. Artyom Zdunov and the Director of Eurasian Federation of Oncology Mr. Somasundaram Subramanian (Doctor Soma) discussed areas of cooperation in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutics.

The meeting took place at the republic house, and was attended by the Rector of MRSU Mr. Dmitry Glushko, director of the Institute of Medicine Mrs. Larisa Balykova, deputy director of the Eurasian Federation of Oncology Mr. Alexander Koshelev.

At the meeting, it was announced that from June 10 to June 16, the International Week of «GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY» will be held in Saransk on the basis of the MRSU with the participation of a wide range of specialists from Russia and India (EAFO GynOnc Week).

The events will be attended by MRSU students, doctors from all republican health institutions and departments.
