Ogarev Mordovia State University has been a trustworthy provider of educational services since 1987. During this time, the University has trained more than 1000 citizens from 70 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, South and North America, including graduate students who continued their education here as a PhD degree or post-doctoral degree seekers. The bolstering of activities related to international education is attributed to the status of a National research university earned by the University in 2010.
As of today, more than 2130 international students from 50 countries pursue their studies at the University: this figure is comparable to leading Russian Universities. The system of academic mobility encompasses students, postgraduates as well as teaching and administrative staff. The main forms of academic mobility complement each other: development of joint educational programs, exchange of teaching, administrative, auxiliary staff and researchers through available educational programs. Every year more than 200 students, postgraduates and researchers of the University go abroad for training, pursuing the research, lecturing and participation in creative and scientific events. Within the framework of academic mobility programs, the University annually receives more than 100 guest lecturers, researchers and students.
