The international information group «Interfax» has presented the annual National University Ranking for 2023. Our university entered the list of best universities in Russia.

MRSU is consistently ranked among the top 50 universities (occupied the 37th position — last year :39th position).

In total, more than, 360 Russian universities are actually ranked. An independent assessment of educational organizations and their programs was carried out on the basis of the processing of questionnaires submitted by universities, public data posted on the website of universities and information resources of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as information from the information and analytical systems SPARK-Interfax and SCAN -Interfax

The activities of universities were considered according to six parameters:
education, research, social environment, cooperation, brand, innovation and entrepreneurship.

MRSU university improved its performance in four areas:

• Education — 793 points (in 2022 — 781)
• Research — 301 points (in 2022 — 264)
• Socialization — 735 points (in 2022 — 722)
• -Brand — 106 points (in 2022 — 97 points)

Our university has successfully strengthened its position in terms of «research».
