On March 25, the Foreign Literature Department of Pushkin Library hosted a cultural event for international students living in Dormitory No11.
The students took part in interactive quizzes designed to test their knowledge of Russian language and culture. They expanded their vocabulary, learned about Russian holidays, famous landmarks, and traditional cuisine, while also breaking common stereotypes.
A special memory game about Mordovia helped students recall key locations in Saransk, recognize local institutions and festival symbols, explore traditional crafts and mythology, and appreciate the unique cultural heritage of the region.
In addition, students had the opportunity to explore medical books in English, works of A.S. Pushkin in Arabic and Gujarati, and materials for learning Russian as a foreign language.
