FUTURE DOCTORS IN ACTION: MRSU STUDENTS SAVE A PASSENGER’S LIFE

13.11.2025

A routine bus ride turned into a real test of courage and professionalism for two students of the Medical Institute — Anastasia Maslova and Amandurdy Atajanov.

When one of the passengers suddenly lost consciousness, the students didn’t hesitate to help."I heard some noise at the back of the bus — a man had fainted. A young man checked his pulse right away," recalls Anastasia.

That young man was Amandurdy, who immediately took control of the situation."The pulse was very weak. Together with Anastasia, we asked the driver to stop and bring some water. We helped carry the man outside, and Anastasia called an ambulance," says the international student.
After a few moments in the fresh air, the passenger regained consciousness. The students found out he suffered from hypertension and chest pain during the ride. They stayed by his side, monitoring his condition until the ambulance arrived.

When asked about their actions, the students said:"This is our future profession — this is what the university teaches us to do. When there’s a chance to save someone’s life, how could we just stand by? In that moment, we simply did what we had to do.❤️
