Our university was filled with vibrant energy and festivity as Indian students came together to celebrate Onam 2024 yesterday. This year’s event was unique, bringing together not only the Indian student community but also fellow students and residents of the city, fostering a sense of unity and cultural exchange.
The celebration kicked off with traditional music and lively dance performances that captivated the audience and showcased the rich heritage of Kerala. Participants dressed in colorful traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere and honoring the spirit of Onam.
One of the highlights of the day was the beautiful Pookalam, intricate floral designs made with fresh flowers, which adorned the venue and symbolized welcoming prosperity and happiness. Students actively participated in creating these stunning designs, demonstrating their creativity and teamwork.

The celebration also included fun games and activities that engaged everyone present, further bridging the gap between different cultures. It was a spectacular opportunity for participants to learn about each other’s traditions and foster friendships.
