INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CELEBRATE THE LITERARY LEGACY OF ALEXANDER PUSHKIN AT YOUTH CENTER

International students of Group 107 from the Faculty of Philology recently took part in a cultural event at the Youth Center dedicated to the legacy of Alexander Pushkin.

Accompanied by senior curator Nadezhda Demkina, the students explored the life and works of the great poet, listening to and reciting his poetry in both Russian and Turkmen. The event also became a space for cultural exchange, as participants shared their favorite poems in their native language, introducing others to the richness of their national traditions.

One of the highlights of the evening was a screening of an animated adaptation of Pushkin’s famous fairy tale, followed by a lively discussion. Students reflected on the moral lessons found in his stories and their relevance today.

«His tales teach us kindness and help shape our values,» the participants noted.

The visit ended on a warm and inspiring note, and the students expressed their gratitude to the Youth Center for the memorable experience.
