On Monday, February 13, MRSU students celebrated Chinese New Year at the Russian-Chinese Friendship Center. The celebration included students fr om all colleges and institutes, in addition to Chinese students. At the beginning of the celebration Rector MRSU Mr. Dmitry Glushko and Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Mr. Alexander Astafiev made welcoming speech.

Creative performances from our students and various master classes were prepared for the guests:

• Origami lotus made of red paper;

• Making a Chinese fan;

• Traditional Chinese fortune telling;

• Writing your name in Chinese.

The event ended with a buffet table, wh ere dishes of Chinese and Russian cuisines were presented.
