As part of a business visit to Tajikistan, the rector of MRSU held another series of meetings, in which a new areas of cooperation between the university and the Republic of Tajikistan were identified.

The rector of MRSU Mr. Dmitry Glushko at a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Tajikistan Mr. Khakimzoda Kurbon and the rector of the Tajik Agrarian University Mr. Mahmadyorzoda Usmon Mamur, spoke about the university’s prospects in education and scientific — applied developments for agriculture.

Mr. Glushko also noted the potentials MRSU holds in biotechnology, smart and organic farming fields. And he also spoke about the technology of high-resource repair of agricultural equipment’s. The rector of MRSU voiced a proposal to establish a similar center in Tajikistan.

Along with the rector of the Tajik Agrarian University, they agreed on implementing a double-degree masters' programs in agriculture. And Internship at high-tech agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Monrovia will become an integral part for educating Tajikistan students.

Mr. Artyom Zdunov declared that together with the rector Mr. Dmitry Glushko and the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Khakimzoda Kurbon, agreed to train specialists -on the basis of MRSU — within the program of the Interstate Committee of Statistics of the CIS countries, as well as agriculture’s personnel.
