MRSU UNIVERSITY PLANS TO SIGNIFICANTLY EXPAND ITS COOPERATION WITH AFRICAN PARTNERS

After the completion of the Russia-Africa Summit, Madame Umi Sen, the general secretary of the Kalinka cultural center in Senegal, and Sagamba Moi, Doctor of Economics from Burundi, met withMr. Dmitry Glushko, Rector of MRSU, in Saransk yesterday.
IMG_6920.jpgDuring the negotiations, possible ways of interaction in the field of education were identified and directions for joint activities were outlined. «We will work to start teaching the Russian language in schools in Senegal as a first step for cooperation and as an incentive for students to complete their future higher education at our university. We will invite two or three teachers to do an internship At MRSU with a possible defense of a Ph.D. thesis». Commented Mr. Dimitri Glushko. The meeting was attended by Mr. Denis Filetkin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

Our Students represent the following countries: Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, Somalia, Congo, Ivory Coast, Chad, Guinea Angola, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Kenya, Comoros, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Eritrea, South Africa, South Sudan. Most of our African students (145 students) are studying at the Medical Institute.
