Sport isn’t just a game. It’s a useful tool to break down social and cultural barriers off the field. In our university there are a large number of foreign students, and it’s is very important to support not only the scientific side, but also the sports and entertainment aspects.

As a result, From 10 to 14 May 2023 MRSU, hosted the Student Sports Festival of the Volga Federal District.


The students from the Republic of Mordovia, the Penza Region, the Ulyanovsk Region and the Republic of Mari El competed in three sports: badminton, basketball and cricket.


In 3×3 basketball, the team of our university won the competition. In badminton competitions, two teams from MRSU turned out to be the best — and they deserved the first and the second places.



For us, it not the end! It’s only the beginning!
