On November 12, the MRSU Rector Mr. Dmitry Glushko met with Chinese Consul General Xiang Bo to discuss expanding educational and research collaboration between Mordovia State University and Chinese universities.
Highlights of the Meeting:
- Milestone Agreement: Gratitude was expressed for Consul General Xiang Bo’s support in establishing the recent Friendship and Cooperation Agreement between Saransk and Zhengjiang, made possible through the collaborative efforts of Ogarev Mordovia State University and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.
- Launch of Russian-Chinese Institute: A significant step forward is the upcoming Russian-Chinese Institute at Ogarev Mordovia State University, an initiative developed alongside Jiangsu University of Science and Technology to strengthen academic and cultural exchanges.
- Educational Resources: The meeting highlighted the creation of a Russian language textbook tailored for Jiangsu University, promoting language and cultural understanding.
- Research Collaboration: Plans for joint research projects are underway, with applications submitted to both Russian and Chinese scientific foundations. These projects aim to tackle issues that are crucial for the development of both countries.
