The highest competition this year as ever is for engineering, natural sciences and IT specialisms.

To increase the percentage of those who presents their PhD theses upon completion, we were one of the first to embrace integrated learning that is master degree + postgraduate programmes. The purpose of the integrated programmes is to realise the potential of scientific mentoring for continuous research.

INSTITUTE FOR TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT OF ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH PERSONNEL offers 74 specialisms.

For the first time, three local companies dealing with biotechnologies, mechanical engineering and meat products entered into agreements with the University for employer-sponsored (earmarked) training of postgraduate students in 2022. Two more fields of research — «Fiber optics and optoelectronics» and «Transport and special machine and instrument engineering» and entities related to them are going to join this earmarked mode of staff preparation in 2023.
