MRSU WAS AWARDED THE 2022 RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT QUALITY AWARD

On October 19, at the Government House of the Russian Federation, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the government quality award took place.Rector of MRSU Mr. Dmitry Glushko and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mrs. Alina Maslova were presented with the award by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation — Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

Prizes are awarded annually on a competitive basis to organizations for introducing highly effective management methods, achieving significant results in the field of product and service quality, introducing customer-centric principles and digital innovation.

436 enterprises from 69 regions of the country submitted applications for the 2022 competition. Applicants for the title of laureates of the competition were selected by the Council for Awarding Prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality, which consists of a number of top officials of the Government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal executive bodies, institutions and organizations, leading scientists and specialists in the field of quality management, representatives of public associations.

Thanks to the implementation of expert recommendations, they demonstrate an increase in labor productivity, customer focus and financial performance. They can rightly be called drivers of growth in the competitiveness of the Russian economy,» — noted Maxim Protasov, Secretary of the Council for Awarding Prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality, head of Roskachestvo.

Among the six laureates in the category of organizations with more than 1000 employees was MRSU

«At the moment, only 12 universities are known to be laureates of the Russian Government Prize in the field of quality for 25 years, and it is especially important that MRSU is among them. The quality award provides the laureate university with a leader’s image, increased competitiveness, strengthens its status as an educational, expert and scientific-innovative center of the region, helps attract new industrial partners and customers and opens up new business opportunities,» — emphasized the rector of MRSU Mr. Dmitry Glushko.
