On October 12−13, a media forum was held in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, which brought together more than 60 participants. Our students took part in the media forum program, the goal of which was to create a common international channel.
This year, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin in Bishkek celebrated its 30th anniversary. As part of the celebration program, a panel discussion «Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University 2050: prospects and priorities» took place, and was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Mr. Valery Falkov and acting Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva.
«The goal of the forum is to help young media professionals expand professional contacts and gain new in-demand skills,» emphasized Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Mr. Konstantin Mogilevsky.
Students of the Institute of Economics Farangiz Iriskulova, Murodali Muhammadiev and student of the Faculty of Philology Olga Svechnikova represented our university on the international platform. The guys actively took part in the forum program: attended educational lectures, panel discussions and team discussions. The main goal of the forum was to create a common media communication channel for students of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
