OGAREV MORDOVIA STATE UNIVERSITY REAPPOINTS ALEXANDER ASTAFIEV AS VICE-RECTOR FOR YOUTH POLICY

Ogarev Mordovia State University has announced the reappointment of Alexander Astafiev as Vice-Rector for Youth Policy, effective May 14.

Alexander Astafiev has resumed his position overseeing the university’s youth policy initiatives, a role focused on developing student engagement programs and supporting youth-oriented institutional activities.

Since 2023, Astafiev has been responsible for coordinating and implementing state youth policy initiatives within the university. Prior to his initial appointment as Vice-Rector in 2023, he served in 2022 as Director of the Rector’s Office Administration Department at Ogarev Mordovia State University.

The appointment is made under clause 4.24 of Article 4 of the university charter, which stipulates that vice-rectors are appointed by the Rector under fixed-term employment contracts that cannot exceed the Rector’s term of office.
