OPEN DAYS AT OUR UNIVERSITY: A JOURNEY INTO SCIENCE AND INNOVATION!

A series of Open Days has begun at our university’s faculties and institutes, welcoming students from the preparatory department! The first stop was the Institute of Mechanics and Energy—a hub of cutting-edge technologies and engineering excellence.
At the institute, students explored programs in:

  • Agroengineering
  • Transport Vehicle Operation
  • Electric Power and Electrical Engineering
  • Thermal Power Engineering and Heat Engineering
  • Technosphere Safety
    The Department of Electrification and Automation of Production showcased laboratories dedicated to electrical networks, industrial automation, and renewable energy sources, offering a glimpse into the future of sustainable engineering.

Modern Agriculture in Action!
Vladimir Fedorovich Kupryashkin, Head of the Department of Mobile Energy Equipment and Agricultural Machinery, introduced students to state-of-the-art agricultural machinery. They also visited specialized classrooms featuring equipment from Pegas-Agro, Minsk Tractor Plant, and Gomselmash, along with a precision farming laboratory.
A highlight of the visit was the tractor driving simulator and the powerful Rostselmash grain harvester, which captivated the students' interest!

Exploring Advanced Technologies
In the Department of Technical Service of Machines, students engaged with automated metalworking machines, modern vehicle repair techniques, and innovations in tractor maintenance.
A Deep Dive into Automotive Engineering
At the Educational Automotive Center in Building 21, students explored interactive displays featuring internal combustion engines, braking systems, air conditioning units, and transmissions for both passenger and commercial vehicles.
