Yesterday, Saransk and Zhenjiang officially became twin cities after signing a significant agreement on friendship and cooperation. This partnership marks a new chapter in the development of relations between the two cities, focusing on a wide range of sectors including industry, agriculture, education, culture, and tourism.
Zhenjiang, a major city in China’s Yangtze River Delta with over 3.2 million residents, is renowned for its innovative products, high-tech industries, and vibrant tourism sector. The city is also home to Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST), one of China’s leading educational institutions. MRSU has already established cooperation with the JUST university, and plans are underway for the creation of a Russian-Chinese Institute, with the first cohort of students expected next year.
This agreement represents a new milestone in the relationship between Saransk
and Zhenjiang, strengthening ties and paving the way for future collaboration
in a variety of fields. Both cities look forward to exploring the vast
