National Research Mordovia State University has applied for a recertification audit of the quality management system (QMS) for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and GOST R ISO 9001−2015 standards.

The audit was conducted by experts of the CERTIFICATION ASSOCIATION «RUSSIAN REGISTER — Baltic Inspection» and delved into key departments of the University: faculties and institutes, the Department of quality management of educational activities, the Department of Research, the Department of Youth Policy, the Staff Department, etc.

The audit has recognised the management system of the University compliant with the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and the national standard GOST R ISO 9001−2015.

«The advantages of having a certified QMS are evident. The ISO 9000 series certificate should streamline the whole internal systems, work for the image of the University, raise the level of quality education management, is facilitative of better chances in winning competitions, grant proposals, fund-raising, reinforces confidence among investment companies. It contributes heavily to the international cooperation between universities and specifically for the intake of prospective learners by increasing its competitive edge among domestic and international universities», explained Natalia Kalyazina, Head of the Department of Quality Management of Educational Activities.
