Yesterday was a special day for our international students from Uzbekistan, as the first batch of the joint program with the Andijan State University.19 students completed their Studies at the Faculty of Philology (Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language).
The educational program is focused on mastering the skills of teaching Russian as a foreign language, Russian literature and regional studies of Russia, and foreign students master the Russian language in depth, study the theory of translation, master the skills of everyday and scientific communication in Russian.

Students study Russian philology in its various aspects, methodology, methodology and practice of independent research activities in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics, acquire linguodidactic knowledge, skills and practical experience necessary for teaching Russian to foreign students and students. Graduates of this program work both in Russia and abroad — in language centers, schools and universities, travel companies, diplomatic and trade missions.
MRSU is a choice for many international students to study Russian language. Some use it further to study various courses at Russian universities, others are attracted by the opportunity to become a philologist and, after graduating from the university, teach the Russian language in their home country.
