The celebration of the Student’s Day held at Mordovia State University was attended by the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mordovia Alexander Savilov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Mordovia Anastasia Grishneva and the Head of the Saransk City District Igor Asabin.

The Rector — Dmitry Glushko congratulated the audience: «There is no such thing as former students. Our university is known in many countries of the world owing to our students. I wish you bright discoveries, inspiration and great success! Many thanks to the teaching staff, professors and mentors of young people. You’re doing a great job!»

The most distinguished students and youth groups in 2022 were awarded letters of gratitude in dozens of nominations. To name just a few:

For contribution to the development of choreographic art — dance group «Elis» from the Institute of Electronics and Light Engineering.

For contribution to the development of sports: nomination — martial dance Wushu-kung-fu — Nazanin Khurshedzoda.

For contribution to the development of sports — football team of the University.

For contribution to the popularisation of the University brand at the federal level — Yana Mudryakova.

For contribution to the intellectual development of the University — Mikhail Ushaev, Egor Medvedev, Irina Kazakova, Olga Kulebakina, Valeria Ignatkova;

For contribution to the development of international relations of the University — Farangiz Iriskulova, Hanna Joy, Omar Mohammed, Validzhon Dzhuraev, Wang Syiang, Abdulhamid Abduzhalilov.

Apart from mentioned nominations Dmitry Glushko and the Chairman of the Student Council Natalia Anoshkina awarded the best students in traditional competition «Recognition of the Year».

The social function was followed by a festive concert. The audience was especially ecstatic about the rap singers from India — students Raul Kumar Gree and Divyam Vashishth. The celebration culminated in the traditional cream cake cut by the Rector.
