At the end of January the University launched the Open Championship in Badminton.
More than a hundred people aged between 16 and 60 years old pitched up to participate in the competition, most of the players are students, including international ones from India, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, African countries and the People’s Republic of China.
Year 2023 has been declared the year of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports.
In May, The University will host friendly match-tournament between Russian and Chinese students.
For Russian students, this will be the stage of selection to qualify for a nationwide Russian competitions planned by the Russian Student Sports Union.
Such competitions are held in the Republic of Mordovia for the first time.
